ICNM Mission:

The mission of ICNM is to increase the audience base for new music, especially in public school and (general) university education, to provide the opportunity for public school students as well as university students to work with nationally and internationally known composers and scholars, to provide instructional materials and support to schools (especially in rural areas), to foster cultural collaborations with communities, to maintain international connections in the area of new music, to provide technological assistance to students, teachers, and composers to expedite the creative process, and to stimulate and support research (including student research) on new music and host national and international conferences.
